1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Hoitajapooli Oy through the website huntforauroras.com (“the Site”). By booking a service, the customer (“you” or “the client”) agrees to comply with these Terms.

Each service’s price, schedule, group size, and other relevant details are defined during the booking process. Unless otherwise agreed, all communication and guidance will be provided in English or Finnish.

2. Bookings and Confirmation

By placing a booking, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the booking’s binding nature. Your reservation is confirmed once the deposit payment has been received and a confirmation has been sent to your provided contact method (email or otherwise).

3. Payments

The total price of the service is typically divided into a deposit and a final payment, unless otherwise agreed.

• The deposit must be paid immediately upon booking via the available payment methods (bank transfer, card, etc.) or no later than the due date provided.

• The booking is considered valid only after the deposit has been received and confirmed by Hoitajapooli Oy.

• If the deposit is not received by the due date, Hoitajapooli Oy reserves the right to cancel the reservation without further notice.

• The remaining balance, if applicable, is payable after the service or as separately agreed.

All prices include VAT as per applicable Finnish tax laws.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

• Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made by the client, or in case of a no-show or late arrival beyond the agreed schedule, regardless of the reason.

• If Hoitajapooli Oy is forced to cancel a service (due to weather, safety concerns, authority restrictions, or other reasonable causes), we will attempt to reschedule the service. If rescheduling is not possible, the deposit will be refunded.

• If the service takes place but natural phenomena such as the Northern Lights are not visible, we will aim to offer a reschedule or a partial refund depending on the circumstances.

Refunds are typically processed via the original payment method. Most refunds are handled within 5–10 business days but may take up to 30 days in some cases.

5. Liability and Responsibility

Hoitajapooli Oy is committed to offering services safely and professionally, in accordance with local laws and safety standards. Our tours may involve cold weather, walking on uneven terrain, and periods of outdoor exposure.

The company holds liability only for personal or material damages caused by its own negligence or that of its employees. You are responsible for having appropriate travel and health insurance to cover unexpected incidents.

Please inform us in advance if you have any health conditions, limitations, are pregnant, or have other concerns that may affect your participation. By joining the tour, you accept all associated risks.

6. Insurance Coverage

Hoitajapooli Oy holds valid third-party liability insurance covering personal injury and property damage directly caused during the activity.

7. Force Majeure

Hoitajapooli Oy shall not be held liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, war, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through mutual agreement shall be submitted to a competent Finnish court. The primary venue is the District Court of the company’s registered location.

9. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in full effect.

10. Amendments

Hoitajapooli Oy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes do not apply retroactively to bookings made before the update.
